Background: Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is a leading cause of death worldwide, and immediate access to an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can significantly increase survival rates. However, locating the nearest AED, healthcare provider, or ambulance service during an emergency can be challenging. To address this, a mobile-based solution was developed to track and navigate emergency healthcare resources effectively.
The primary objective of this mobile solution is to provide real-time tracking and navigation to AEDs, nearby healthcare providers, ambulance services, and other emergency healthcare facilities. The goal is to reduce response time and improve patient survival rates by ensuring quick access to critical healthcare services.
